I was lucky enough to be able to speak to some of the people involved in Timekeepers but unfortunately not all of them. I was asked not to speak to Thomas and Emily's parents because they still don't know what their children have been through, and I obviously could not speak to Jack Fletcher which is why his biography is so short. His friends were kind enough to give me some details to try and describe him.
I haven't given any more information regarding the 'bad guys' in Timekeepers because we still don't know a lot about them and because I have no sympathy with them. The Tempus Viator teachers are all honorable and brave people who try to repair the damage to Time that we have all done through ignorance. This often puts them in great danger but they do it anyway, because they believe it is the right thing to do. They are not perfect, they make mistakes and sometimes break their own rules, but they are good people. It was their story that I wanted to tell because they deserve the recognition.
